John and Phyllis moved into the home in 1960.   They both loved to travel and saw many parts of the world including Asia, Africa and Europe. Phyllis loved to shop, especially for clothes and art and they acquired some lovely art, particularly in Africa. John’s passions were the outdoors and photography. He was a long time member of the Sierra Club and went on numerous hiking adventures with them. He also spent many hours taking pictures, slides and movies of their travels and his outdoor activities.
