Estate Sales And Water News

First for those of you who know my hometown of Mt. Shasta… here is the link to donate even a dollar to the cause. Most of you know my mother’s well is going dry and one neighbor’s well is already bone dry. Crystal Geyser will start massive pumping production next month without our help to stop it right at the base of Mt. Shasta. Remember this is the Sacramento River Headwaters we are talking about. Eventually that will affect each and every one of you as well. Please help stop this rape of resources now!!!

Puppies born Sunday July 5th!!! They will be up for adoption along with their mom the end of August if you are interested…all are healthy chihuahuas

We will be keeping the blonde to replace our girl Misty as many of you know went to doggie heaven this spring after 18 happy years!
We will be adding new photos Monday night.

Join us Tuesday July 7th  From 9 AM to 4 PM at
[address removed for privacy]

As you can see by the photos; Marcy’s house is nothing if not packed with vintage; good taste, fun colors, beautiful memories, and great bargains around every corner. Think I LOVE Lucy; lucite purses, vintage clothes, hats, shoes, hairdryers, head vases, cool retro shades and lamps, fender guitar, ukulele, bowling signs clocks and mem., vintage games and Golden books, old metal painted garden furniture and plant stands.
If you’re in need of anything 1950s-1970s or just interested in poking through some really fun history stop by Tuesday and shop our sale at Marcy’s house. You mid century collectors are going to love this whole shebang and you can plan on spending some time sifting through all the treasures she has to offer.
Thursday, July 9 from 9 AM to 4 PM we offer you a crazy digger sale at the highest build-able lot in Grass Valley at
[address removed for privacy]
We will have ample signs bringing you all the way in from the auburn exit towards the house so follow our yellow arrow signs down 49 to Combi Rd and turn right.
This sale is one hour from our front door and we live in South Land Park.
This log cabin overlooks 10 acres of majestic forest below and about 10% of that acreage is filled with junk for you to dig through. Not only is there tons of junk and scrap metal for sale but there are also some really great antiques and collectibles, book collections, music, sewing, knitting, quilting, crafts, vintage clothing, trunks, military, artwork, kitchenware and everything a 90 Plus year-old woman would gather in a lifetime of collecting great stuff!

Pricing will be unusual in that only about 10% of the household will be sticker priced, the rest of the household, barn, sheds, garage as well as the second in-law quarters out back will be sold at  “grab it and stack it” and offer your own price. This means you will be able to get some real bargains on almost everything in this estate so it will be well worth the drive up to fill up your truck for a very low amount of money.

We hope you will join us Thursday June 9th for fair pricing on the sticker priced goods from 9 AM to 12 noon half price from noon to four and box lot will be Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM at five dollars a box and at 4 PM on Friday June 10th everything will go for free or donation.

This will be quite the sales event with lots of beautiful scenery and tons of wildlife including plenty of deer to watch. You might want to bring a camping chair and sit for a spell and enjoy the beautiful mountain breeze. Please do both yourselves and us a favor by bringing all the boxes you can muster for this event as well as wrapping materials for you folks who want to buy breakables.

We look forward to helping Carol empty her 90 year hoard so that she can sell this house for bargain and go live in the Shriners Home the rest of her days.

On Saturday July 11th we will give a smaller if not quite eclectic estate sale in the vintage neighborhood of Hollywood Park. This sale starts at 7 AM – two 2 PM  and will be located at

Please excuse any typos as many of you know I had a car accident two weeks back and my hand is broken and casted so I have to make sure to do special editing with my typing with one hand as I am talking into a recorder and it doesn’t always understand what I’m trying to say, so I have to take extra time to fix all the errors… thanks for understanding.
Thanks so much for your patronage and also the read.
