Rules For Accepting Checks

THESE RULES DO NOT APPLY TO OUR EMAIL LIST, THOSE PEOPLE WE ACCEPT MOST CHECKS FROM AS WE ALREADY DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. IF YOU ARE ON OUR CURRENT EMAIL LIST, SEE JENNIE FOR WRITING CHECK.

  1. Check should be dated the day it is written.
  2. Your purchase must be for $50 or more.
  3. We do not accept checks from a new account with check number starting under 500 in upper  right corner of your check.
  4. The checking account must be in YOUR name with YOUR name and contact information showing at the top of the check.
  5. We must have both your phone number and driver’s license number on the top of your check – either preprinted or written in.
  6. We will check all drivers’ licenses to ensure a match between the address on your driver’s license and on your check.
  7. We will not accept any out-of-state checks.
  8. If your check bounces and then clears on a subsequent submission, you are responsible to reimburse us for the bank fees we get charged. The bank fee for bad checks is a minimum of $25 up to a maximum fee of five times the amount of the check.
  9. Write one bad check and we will no longer accept a check from you.
  10. We have the right to refuse your check for any reason. No exception.
