“A New Beginning”
And she woke from her dream;
the birds were singing~
The skies were blue and the grass was green~
The air was fresh and clean and she took it deep into her lungs, rejuvenating her entire body~
Everyone was outside of their houses~
The people were walking hand in hand and the children were laughing and playing together~
The parents hugged the children and one another
The dogs all ran up and down the beaches and frolicked together while their families talked and shared all of their wildest hopes for a bright new future and a happier world~
All public places were full of people both young and old, and all the people were happy to be out of their homes and in sight of one another where they could say hello and hug one another and make sure they all felt okay inside their hearts, minds and souls~
They shared home-baked meals, cookies and teas. They were not afraid and they felt safe to touch anything and everything that they had enjoyed when they were small beings.
The parks and public places were full of old friends and new acquaintances giggling and feeling so elated to be ‘outside’ once more enjoying the touch and comfort of one another~
They caught up with their hopes and dreams and stories of where they had been and what they had been through, always reaching out to each other~
The people shared food, drink, love and hope for a future where all of them could count on one another and never be alone again~
No one did without, and all the needy were cared for by those that “had” and those that “had” were happy to share their abundance~
They were full of grace, gratitude and kindness~
And the sun shone above everyone with a new kind of brightness and sincerity~
The world was born again and the entire human race was like a fresh and renewed rainbow~
There was trust, faith, integrity and joy.
The neighbors shared dreams, hope and love.
It was as if they had a new chance to make it right this time and no one wanted to miss a step~
And all was right in the world
The “New Beginning” had begun
