Precious Dens Animal Shelter Fundraiser!!!

Lucky Misty!

Our Thanksgiving Day Feast With Friends and Family

It’s time once more for our annual charity event to make money and gather items for Mitch Prefach’s “Precious Dens Animal Shelter, Inc” in Herald California. We hope each of you can contribute a little something whether it is a towel, blanket, pooper scooper, bag of food or even just a nice household item that you no longer have a use for, that we can sell at our upcoming fundraiser to gift Mitch the money to care for the animals; medical needs, shelter, food and upkeep.

Feel free to drop anything you would like us to sell at the fundraiser at 5324 Riverside Blvd Monday through Friday 12noon-6pm. Baked items are best to bring closer to the date.
If you have donations of checks (made out to Precious Dens Animal Shelter) household goods or baked goods you want to add to the cause, but cannot bring them down to the sale location; Kobasic’s Candy Shop at 5324 Riverside Blvd 95822; contact Jennie at 916-397-6504 or email your address and the best time to pick up the baked goods, sale-able items or checks for Mitch, and we will have one of the crew-volunteer’s come pick up whatever you have and add it to the sale. Thanks so much for anything you can gather together to help us with this effort. Much obliged.

We are delighted to be able to afford the time and energy in our lives to give to a good cause. My guess is that many of you also feel the same way and will want to help Mitch in any way you can. If you would rather help by coming to the sale and buying collectibles or household goods with all proceeds going to the Dog Hospice, the dates are as follows:

Thursday November 29th 12noon-8pm
Friday November 30th from 9am-6pm
Saturday December 1st from 9am-4pm
Sale location is 5324 Riverside Blvd Sacto 95822
Inside the rental hall at Kobasic’s Candy

So far for sale we have donated items for you to shop from as follows; tools, jewelry, clothes, horse tack, crafts items, books, lps, matchbooks, folding tables, folding chairs, toys, games, artwork, Christmas decorations, utensils, silver-plate, beads, knives, ephemera, souvenirs, exercise equipment, garden tools, antiques, collectibles, office supplies, coats, shoes, cleaners, glassware, pottery, brass, and much more. We will not be offering photos of the items for sale until the day prior when all donations have been added but are excited to offer you as much or more than you were able to shop from last year.

This is a special time of year when we like to be thankful for all we have; our health, friends, family, pets, homes and so importantly; our livelihood. This career has enabled me to be near my daughter and animals, to be able to make so many people happy and relieve so many others. I feel fortunate to be able to call so many of you friends and count on you for support.
Here’s wishing you all an easy day of relaxation on this holiday. May your hearts be tender, your thoughts be loving, and your gratitude— eternal.
Happy Thanksgiving
Jen

Don’t forget we have rescued a kind and gentle 8 year old neutered male ‘racoon looking’ kitty by name of “Alfy” who is in desperate need of a new home as his mom passed away. If you or a friend would like to meet him, he is currently taking up temporary residence in our yoga studio out back. Email if you are in need of a friend to move in with you for life.
