I love this story. Major Sahib and so many other dying street animals are being saved each day by this tiny little charity in India. I love these boys and girls, all about Sophie’s age, who donate much of their lives to rescuing, petting, cleaning, feeding and loving these critters with no expectations in return except the better lives they can give these poor animals. Please don’t be sad for the beginning of how they find these dogs, but be relieved for the ending. I myself will plan a trip over sometime in the future to merely spend a week of my life petting and comforting dogs near their end. Just for the sense of easing their pain.
