That’s right! Scott and Debbie are hosting an online auction that ends at 7pm tonight that has all sorts of country-stuff from my very own Girl-Scout teacher’s family home.
Mrs Swenson was everything to me as a little girl.
We used to go our to her ranch on Old Stage Rd at the edge of my family’s old ranch from the days when the town was named Sisson and Berryville off Hill Road and meet her there.
We just couldn’t WAIT to find out what she had in store for us that day or night.
She taught me how to build a fire, sleep in the woods, and sing a campfire song.
She also taught me how much integrity mattered, that honesty trumped popularity and how much it counted that you truly liked yourself as a human being.
I loved that lady!

If you scoot on over right now and sign up on the website you can bid on some of her family heirlooms at Scott and Debbie’s final auction before they host our GIANT fundraiser auction next week to benefit the cats and dogs that Charlene and Mitch care for all year round.
We sure hope you will take a minute to go visit their site and sign up. I will send you a reminder email about the fundraiser Sunday evening. They will be adding more and more photos and lots of auction items throughout the weekend and I would not be at all surprised if they hit 100 lots for the fundraiser! It could happen.
