This collection is rare not only in that Ivan made it through the great depression and kept all those habits impressed into his person watching his parents do without, but also because his house is a memorial of war times, hard times, and most of all good times. Walking through this old worn-down home filled with special memories, collections and gifts from all he knew and loved, your heart will be softened to the hard life he lived right up until the very end.
There are some of the rarest books here we have ever seen or sold. He held his late wife’s collection until he passed as well. She had beautiful Spode charms and heart collections, Capodimonte flowers and bird collections, cups and saucers hauled over from England, Delft and Blue Willow from here and abroad, a charming bell collection as well as a huge assortment of Demitasse spoons and holders.
For the roughest of our clients their are plenty of old and worn hand-tools, garage gadgets, electronics, and hardy men’s items. We even have some art and carvings as well.
This will be a fun and celebratory sale for both you and the family/neighbors to remember Ivan’s life through. We hope you can join us.
Thanks for your patronage and also the read.
