This Thursday’s Estate Sale For Vonzie and Lee Shapiro’s home in Elk Grove is a labor of love. The family is related to my childhood friend Larry from Mount Shasta and I could not be happier that we are able to give them a hand in emptying this lovely home so that they can sell it. Hopefully you will all be able to stop by and see if there isn’t something you can use.

Signs will be super tricky if allowed at all so bring your mapquest and know that the home is located just off of Four Winds Drive, which is off Babson Drive which stems just between Laguna and Elk Grove Blvd. We will do our best to sign up to the community (which is not gated) and then hopefully we can direct you the rest of the way in with our sandwich board Estate Sale signs on top of the trucks or cars. So better for you to come prepared and print out a map to find us just in case they make it difficult.
This sale will have fair pricing 9am-12noon, 1/2 price 12noon-3pm, boxlot pricing 3pm-4pm and free and donation going from the garage and driveway at 4pm on Thursday. Remember to bring boxes as there is a lot of small merchandise you will need boxes to haul off.
This sale will differ in a couple of ways least of which will be we will start the day off with a large group of free furniture etc when we first open so we won’t have to donate or dump so much in the end. If it is free, it is either outdated, dirty or dandered so don’t expect perfect merchandise leaving for free before we open, but rather damaged and as is items.
This estate offers lots of crafts, American Girl dolls and others, toys, games, holiday, South Western decor, very large ladies clothes (much of it new with tags) medium men’s clothes (much of it vintage and very stylish) books, movies, bedding, kitchenware, flowers like you can not believe (this sale could set up your grave markers for a lifetime of visits) garden goodies, comfortable furniture, inexpensive artwork, vases like crazy, and lots of general household.
Know in advance there is not much here of real high end value but rather an affordable collection you can all enjoy and walk away feeling like you got a real bargain!
