Take A Letter Maria…News From Enough In Waldport

Hello friends,
Just to let you know, for those of you who may want to send an actual letter or card to keep in touch (the ones I received from Sacramento from old friends I have known from sales have really warmed my heart and soul) this is to let you know my mailing address.

Please use Jennie Krausse PO box 130 Yachats Oregon 97498.
I would LOVE to read your news and updates. This coastal town is beautiful, welcoming and just so calming. That doesn’t mean I don’t miss you all like crazy. I think of you often and would just like to hear all is well in your world.

We closed escrow on the storefront in Waldport on Tuesday (and finalized the sale of my own home in Sacramento the next day) and we have been busy painting, cleaning and trying to make this the most beautiful and welcoming place in the world as well as in Waldport.

As you can see by the photos we received the shop in quite a state with lots of stuff left there from the previous tenants so we have our work cut out for us. Thank goodness for Gabi, Rocky and Martin for giving me some extra needed help. With some imagination, elbow grease, paint and carpet, we should be able to turn it around in the next two weeks. There will soon be plenty of fresh flowers, soothing decor and colors everywhere, warm and delicious coffee and treats as well as plenty of soft jazz music to sooth everyone’s soul.

As you know the concept of the new storefront will be helping the community as we help others help themselves. The name of the storefront will simply be “Enough”. The name came to me when my sister sent me a video of my own mother saying I had enough stuff and should not buy anymore for myself, for her, or just in general. We laughed so hard at the time…but then it set my mind to thinking. We do have enough stuff don’t we? We have enough stuff, the world should have enough for all. Food. Shelter. Water. Healthcare. Peace. Harmony. Love. Compassion. Care. Friendship. Generosity. Kindness. Enough of wars, terror, politics and talk. For now, let’s put our money where our mouth is and help others on earth who need our kindness. I know I am going to try. Just one day at a time…

Before you know it, my dream will become a reality and hopefully I can help some wounded souls on the way.

Many warm wishes and good thoughts from me to you.
Jen and pooches and the occasional visitor from home :)
