Therese Bonvouloir Bayol, Proud French Canadian’s Estate Sale!
This is the home of a well known French Canadian novelist with 8 wonderful books under her belt. Just a few of her books which we found in this estate are: “House Not For Sale”, “Radio Follies”, “Shadow Women”, “Panting After Chopin”. These titles and more, will be available for sale at our estate event. Therese is just one of the many celebrated novelists who have lived in this Delta town of Rio Vista and there have been gatherings of this group of writers celebrated in local papers for many years.
Therese wrote in both english and French and published in both languages. She is an amazing woman who did so much more in her lifetime than most of us could hope to accomplish and managed it all while being a great mother and loving wife to Frank.
This will be a collection worth the drive from Sacramento. Victorian Sterling Silver on up to the 60s, fine and costume jewelry, some original signed artwork, an authentic cable car bell mounted on oak, many antiques and collectibles, china, Delft, pottery, crystal, holiday decor, furniture, an entire library, linens, bedding, file cabinets galore, garden pots and plants, yard, tools, BBQ and more.
Frank, himself is quite an artist with some of his original paintings being offered for sale as well. They range from colorful depictions of landscapes to abstract figures on canvas. Each has a life of its own and with frames would grace any wall proudly.
Frank and Theresa met and married over 45 years ago and have been thick as thieves ever since. They adore one another and finish each others sentences. They are best friends and it shows in the love and respect they give to one another.
Early on they collected antiques, as many were handed down to them from Therese’s family going back to the early 1800s. The blood-line with these items follows all the way across the sea and the silver collection is part of that family heirloom that was brought over into Canada and beyond.
Luckily for us, their sons do not want, nor need these beautiful collectibles, so we will be offering them up for sale to you next week from
We hope you will drive down, enjoying the beautiful landscape and stay for the great choices of antiques and collectibles as well as useful household and garden goods and near new washer and dryer as well as small kitchen appliances.
Thanks for your patronage and also the read.
